TEK Bowling is a new Bowling Services organisation founded by two men with the same outlook, ideals and vision for the future of our great game.
TERRY SEARLE and KEITH BRINGLOE are B.T.B.A. qualified coaches. Terry is a phase IV and Keith a phase III coach. Between them they have over 40 years of coaching experience.
They have coached at YBC, County and International levels. Both have been involved with the Junior Enhanced Training Scheme (JETS) since it's inception four years ago and both have been Junior Team England Coaches for the last two years. They also run Phase I and Phase II instructors courses for the BTBA.
Committed to continual learning and expansion of knowledge, they have attended courses in all aspects of the sport and have worked with some of the top coaches in the world. They both also hold a Sports Psychology diploma. To underline their committment they are both intending to undertake the USA Silver Level coaching course and an Advanced Sports Psychology course.
Having attended many courses and seminars held by top coaches from around the world, both within bowling and other sports, they combine to form a large store of knowledge and techniques which they feel should be available to both Bowlers and Coaches alike.
To this end we are launching this website to provide the access that we feel is missing. As well as the more usual coaching services, we are offering an e-mail forum for people to get answers to their specific questions.
We intend to use any proceeds from this venture to help provide funding for various aspects of the junior game. This may take the form of sponsorship of events and players, money to subsidise NAYBC coaching or even the opportunity to obtain equipment and coaching for talented juniors who do not have the means themselves.
This is where the "P" word comes in, yes "Professional". Yes this does mean that there will be charges made for our services (there is no such thing as a free lunch !) but apart from the expenses, the majority of any income will be reinvested so providing the kinds of sponsorship described above to the world of Junior Bowling.
